The European Blockchain Sandbox (EBS) initiative from the European Commission will open for third cohort applications from the 27 November 2024 to 31 January 2025.
The application form will be shared via the web site, and on social media channels on 27 November (LinkedIn, X.com).
The European Blockchain Sandbox is an initiative of the European Commission which aims to establish a pan-European framework for regulatory dialogues, to increase legal certainty for innovative blockchain technology solutions and facilitate the development of best practices. The Sandbox aims to raise awareness amongst legislators, regulators, and blockchain innovators to better understand potential regulatory issues and possible solutions in the blockchain space.
Some 20 use cases were part of the first cohort applications, with Irish use cases making it in the second cohort.
“Building on the success of our first two cohorts, we are thrilled to announce the launch of applications for our third cohort on the 27 of November 2024. We invite blockchain innovators to join us in our mission to bridge the gap between blockchain innovation and regulatory insight. Follow our pages for updates and be among the first to access the application link,” said a statement from EBS.
